These terms govern your use of fraserlowvoltagecontracting.ca (the “site”), operated by Fraser Low Voltage Contracting (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use it. Consulting, design, installation and service work is governed by a separate written agreement between us and the client, not by these terms.
Information, not advice
The site describes our services in general terms. Nothing on it is engineering, electrical, life-safety or code-compliance advice, a system design, a specification, or a quotation, and reading it does not create a client relationship. Building, electrical, fire and security requirements depend on the specific project and on the codes, bylaws and authorities having jurisdiction that apply to it at the time. Do not act on anything here without a written engagement with us or another qualified professional.
Accuracy and changes
We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we make no promise that it is complete, error-free or up to date, and we may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time without notice.
Using the site
You may browse the site, print pages, and share links to it for the purpose of learning about or evaluating our services. You may not copy or republish its content, scrape it automatically, interfere with its operation, probe or test its security, or use the contact details on it to send unsolicited marketing.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, graphics, photographs and code of the site belong to Fraser Low Voltage Contracting or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international copyright law. Product and brand names mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners; mentioning them does not mean they endorse us, or that we are an authorized dealer or installer of their products unless a page says so explicitly.
Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites for convenience. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and linking does not mean we endorse them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fraser Low Voltage Contracting and its directors, employees and contractors are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content, including indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of British Columbia or Canada.
Privacy
How we handle personal information collected through the site is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site will be decided by the courts of British Columbia, and you agree to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
